Madeline is a Family and Marriage Therapist Associate and enjoys working with families, couples, individuals and teens. She enjoys diversity and works with a wide range of issues. Madeline offers a space where people can feel heard and supported. She helps clients work towards more intentional living and connected relationships. Her passion is to help clients find inner peace and balance in the midst of our often busy and often stressful lives. Madeline provides support for clients as they move towards creating meaningful change in their lives. She aims to provide a compassionate presence in session and help individuals, couples, families, and teens thrive.
Her therapeutic style is rooted in family systems theory, which means she takes into consideration all aspects of a person’s lives, including their family of origin, occupation, health, resources, community, education, opportunities, as well as, mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. She uses a person-centered approach and creates individualized plans according to client’s needs, issues, and goals. She often uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT) in session with clients and has experience in various settings in clinical counseling, residential treatment centers with adults and long- term inpatient care with children and adolescents.
Madeline loves helping people improve the quality of their lives and encourages clients to prioritize their mental health knowing it can promote productivity and effectiveness in daily life. She helps people learn effective coping skills they can quickly and easily use for managing stress, regulating their emotions and improving communication.
Whether clients are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief loss, eating disorders, trauma, life purpose or are going through interpersonal or relationship conflict she strives to create a space that fosters self-awareness, confidence, wisdom, hope, healing, and compassion for oneself.
During her free time, Madeline enjoys being in nature, going for walks outside, spending quality time with friends and family, and nurturing her artist expression through painting.
