I am a licensed mental health clinician practicing in Washington and also licensed in Idaho state. I received my Masters of Social Work degree in Mental Health from the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. I believe in providing the highest quality of care through the use of evidence-based and well-researched modalities of treatment based on client-stated needs and goals.
I value diversity and enjoy working with all ages across the life span. I am culturally sensitive and spiritually competent, enabling me to serve a large variety of backgrounds and beliefs. Having worked with children, teens, young adults, midlife, and the elderly I bring great insights and understanding of the developmental influences that shape clients' understanding of themselves and others. I am well-suited for couple's or family counseling, bringing an objective and transparent presence to a variety of couple's and family issues that require conflict resolution to improve relationships and increase connection and happiness.
I am devoted to empowering clients toward healthy decision-making and change. I build on a client's strengths to assist clients increase their self-reliance, self-assurance, self-confidence, and self-love. I have a background in addiction counseling and assists positive change in those who are ready to assist themselves in breaking difficult habits and self-destructive behaviors. I have a strong understanding of women's mental health, having led many women's recovery groups. I am passionate about empowering individuals, couples, and families to heal and move toward being their current circumstances and experience their most evolved selves and living their very best lives.
